New Home, TX

Wedding & Event Center

Cotton Creek Barn warmly invites you to celebrate your love story just minutes outside Lubbock, wrapped in stunning views of endless cotton fields and open skies. This family-owned treasure blends authentic rustic charm with modern comfort, tailored entirely to your vision. With cozy bridal suites, a spacious dance floor for up to 300 guests, and an overnight farmhouse with a private pool, it is the perfect, stress-free oasis to gather your favorite people and dance the night away under the Texas sky.

What sets us apart as a top wedding venue near Lubbock is our history. Our walls aren’t just wood and tin; they are stories. We spent years gathering reclaimed materials from local cotton gins, abandoned farmhouses, and historic fences across the community to build this sanctuary. From the original doors of the first New Home School to the weathered textures of the Olde Grain Barn, every corner of our 70×80 main facility reflects the rugged beauty and heritage of West Texas.

Your Vision, Our Family Tradition

Cotton Creek Barn was founded in 2013 by Kent and Mitzi Bruton, who have deep roots in New Home, Texas. Kent is a local cotton farmer, while mitzi works as a teacher in the New Home community. Their daughter, Natalie, plays a key role in the family business by managing both the event operations and the farmhouse rental.

A Venue Rooted in Heritage

For 13 years, we’ve proudly served brides, grooms, and their families with the small-town values that make our venue feel like home. We didn’t just build this venue—we built it from the ground up and continue to own and operate it, allowing us to provide the personal service and care our couples deserve. From our in-house décor room to customizable packages designed for every couple, we offer options ranging from a simple DIY package to an almost all-inclusive experience for the busy bride. With beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, a backup plan for unpredictable West Texas weather, on-site lodging for up to 15 guests, and space for your rehearsal dinner, we’re here to make your wedding experience as seamless and memorable as possible. Most importantly, we’re honored to be part of your love story and help bring your wedding vision to life.
