NIX BIG DAY!
April 5, 2014
Ok y’all, we loved every minute of this wedding! No detail was spared. The great thing about Cotton Creek Barn is that it can be dressed up or dressed down for any occasion… This wedding was definitely dressed up a little bit! We new immediately from seeing all the helpers that the bride and groom are loved very much! Alexis and Travis, you are so very lucky to have so many people that love you! We hope you enjoyed Cotton Creek Barn as much as we enjoyed you! We wish you all the best!
I just have to comment on the Coral Flowers because they are gorgeous and matched the bridesmaid dresses perfectly! … & they made The Cotton Barn look awesome!
The Photographer for the wedding was Kenda Davies. She brought along a helper with her to do the photo booth, which was so much fun! We loved the burlap backdrop!
Even the bathrooms were decorated!
Cotton Creek Buffet looking so good!
Sorry, I apparently failed to get a picture when the cake was on the table. I can assure you though, it was so pretty!
Alexis and Travis, we loved the bibs! Top Tier Catering did the food and drinks for the wedding and I have to say the Macaroni Bar was amazing! The Bride and Groom chose to have a moment to themselves in the Bridal Suite and eat dinner before all the excitement. Top Tier doesn’t normally cater out of the city limits, but we really enjoyed having them!
Bar Top Tables were placed all over the patio for Cocktail Hour happening after the wedding.
This wedding was our first wedding to have a Cocktail Hour, which I think is really fun! Raspberry Champagne was served on the Cocklebur Patio as the specialty drink. So good!
Last but not least…
DJ – Brian Maines. He was so good!
Videographer – Brian Robertson
Soooo I just had to put this picture in … and tell a funny little story. If you are from Lubbock, then you know what wind is and I don’t have to explain. This picture is of the wedding ceremony, which is opposite of the parking lots. One of the ladies coming to help with the wedding opened her car door in our east parking lot and out came her bad of balloons she had. This picture is where they ended up!!!.. Right at the top of the tree that is closest to the ceremony. Ofcourse! So thank you West Texas Wind for that! We ended up having to bust out a long pool stick to get the balloons down.
(These pictures were taken by Cotton Creek Barn and not by the wedding photographer. We only wish we were as good at taking pictures!)
