Erin & Oscar

Erin & Oscar
March 8, 2014

Congrats to the happy couple, Mr. & Mrs. Falcon! Erin and Oscar were such a fun, easy going couple and it showed throughout the night. The wedding took place in Lubbock at the couples church. Here are just a few pictures of the reception! I failed to get a picture of the carne guisada which was served for dinner! It was amazing! Definitely take note of the cake table though. Oscar’s aunts baked homemade cookies for Erin and Oscar and spent a lot of the day arranging tables so that it would be perfect!

We couldn’t have asked for a better couple to have their reception at Cotton Creek Barn.

The décor was gorgeous! Erin handmade all of her décor and it fit in so well at Cotton Creek Barn. (Tree slices provided by Cotton Creek Barn)

We loved this idea! The mason jars were a perfect gift for all of the guests to drink out of and then take home! They also made for cute decorations!

This table was set up  especially for the Bride and Groom and decorated by the Oscar’s aunts. This idea was really neat and gave the bride and  groom a few minutes to themselves to enjoy their carne guisada.

#BecomingUnDunn

January 4, 2014

We were so excited to celebrate the new year as well as a new marriage with Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Campbell! We couldn’t be happier for you! The Dunn’s booked Cotton Creek Barn very early on, before we even new what it would look like. Thank you for having so much faith in us! The wedding was amazing!

Our favorite part of the wedding… 1. How the barn was set-up! Everything was centered around a huge stage in the middle of the barn. It was so unique and turned out beautiful! We just couldn’t get enough of it! 2. Madison’s brother was Maid(Man) of Honor! So sweet and awesome to see a brother and sister that are so close! 3. The mismatched bridesmaid dress were gorgeous! 4. The cake toppers…adorable!

We could go on and on about this wedding, but no doubt Brandon and Madison the wedding was perfect! We wish you all the best!

Cotton Creek Barn Bridal Suite

Cotton Creek Bridal Suite

Every bride should have special place to get ready for her wedding day. That is exactly what we created for you at Cotton Creek Barn. Moms, grandmas, sisters, and bridesmaids, the bridal suite is for you too. A bride’s wedding day should be filled with the people who mean the most to you. Come hang out, eat, talk, do hair and makeup, and mostly tell the bride how much you love her. We decorated the little farm house just like we would our own home, with hope that you will feel at home too.

The bridal suite is equipped with a small kitchen, perfect for a bridal luncheon. We have hooks and closet space for all your beautiful dresses! Lastly, there are plenty of mirrors and plug-ins for all your hair and makeup needs.

Enjoy!

Coty & Tallie

December 21, 2013

Congratulations Coty Isbell and Tallie Wright! Coty grew up up just down the road in O’Donnel, TX. Tallie is from Brady, TX, home of The Goat Cook-off!

The wedding was gorgeous and so much fun! We had a blast spending time with you and your families. Tallie and Coty had their rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception all at Cotton Creek Barn.

The day before Tallie and Coty’s wedding day it rained close to two inches. The Wright’s kind of got stuck with us all day in the barn while they were setting up. We were so happy to have such an optimistic bride when it was raining and muddy at Cotton Creek! If it had rained two inches on Saturday instead of Friday the ring would have been free! After watching it stop raining and listening to a lot of Christmas music, we made it through! Coty, looks like you picked a good one!

We absolutely loved Coty and Tallie’s decorations. Tallie’s mom Paula painted burlap sacks for the wedding decor. They couldn’t have more perfect and more fitting since Coty works for HF&C Feeds in New Deal.

The band, friends of Coty and Tallie, played great Texas Country Music all night! The dance floor was full all night long! These two families stole our hearts! We wish you all the happiness in the world, Coty and Tallie!

This day I will Marry my Best Friend

December 14, 2013

Kendall Long & Katie Morris

Kendall and Katie chose the perfect weekend for an outdoor December wedding. We were a little worried about the wind, but it turned out to be a perfect light jacket type of day. Katie looked absolutely gorgeous in her dress. The two grew up together in Seminole, TX and you could just tell they were meant to be. They didn’t date very long, only months, before realizing they wanted to spend their lives together forever!

Katie and Kendall, we enjoyed getting to know each of your families and wish you all the best! Thank you for being our first wedding at Cotton Creek Barn! It was truly a perfect day!
